York, Michael
Mainly a 70's actor who has proved that his can be a very versitile acting effort. Seen in a wide range of genres, Michael York had played Logan in the futuristic sci-fi epic "Logans Run," and even took a turn at being a murderer in an Agatha Christy movie. But we here at the Swashbuckling Press like to think of him best as a Swashbuckler!! Given the role as none other than d'Artagnan in Richard Lester's (Superman) comedy attempt of "The Three Musketeers," he returned a year later in the sequel called: "The Four Musketeers" to finish out the novel by Dumas. Amazingly, twenty years later, the cast returned to make a film version of Dumas' "Twenty Years After" in the only attempt ever made on film of the novel.
Films that Michael York has appeared in:
The Return of the Musketeers (1988) on VHS
(The Three Musketeers / The Four Musketeers) (1975) both on DVD together
